PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a TCP communication high speed device which speeds up the communication process performance of a large delay line, when performing communication by using a delay effect protocol, such as a TCP protocol, between terminals via the large delay line.SOLUTION: The TCP communication high speed device comprises: ACK packet response means which responds to an ACK packet for a data packet transmitted from a terminal at its base in place of a terminal at other base; and TCP protocol selection means for determining the maximum window size of a wide area communication line based on the line information, e.g., the band and the round-trip delay of the wide area communication line connecting between its base and other base, selecting a standard TCP protocol when the maximum window size is equal to or smaller than a predetermined bites, but selecting a window scale option application TCP protocol when the maximum window size exceeds the predetermined bites, and transmitting a data packet to other base. |
