PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient position information management system.SOLUTION: A position information management system comprises: a communication device which has storage means storing position information of the communication device; a radio terminal which has identification information and communicates with the communication device; and a management server which manages a position of the radio terminal. The management server comprises: position information reception means which receives the identification information and the position information from the communication device; storage means which stores an identifier of the communication device and registration position information of the communication device; verification means which verifies whether the position information received by the position information reception means and the registration position information match with each other; and management means which manages a position of the radio terminal by the identification information and the pieces of position information of which matching is verified by the verification means.
