PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket vending machine for, when a user purchases a ticket, preliminarily showing the service status of a route corresponding to the ticket to be purchased and for improving convenience for the user, and a method for controlling the automatic ticket vending machine.SOLUTION: An automatic ticket vending machine includes: operation means; notification means; and ticket issuing means. The operation means inputs information required for ticket issuing processing. The notification means searches for a use route on the basis of the information input by the operation means, and notifies a user of the service status of the use route on the basis of the information relating to the preliminarily acquired service status. The ticket issuing means executes the ticket issuing processing on the basis of the operation of the operation means in a state that the user is notified of the service status by the notification means. |
