PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably determine a fault of a light reflection part.SOLUTION: An optical switch includes a switch part, a determination light input part, an optical detection part, and a fault determination part, and the switch part includes a light reflection part whose reflection direction can be changed, and changes the reflection direction of the light reflection part to optically couple an input port and an output port to each other through the optical reflection part. The determination light input part inputs determination light for determining a fault of the light reflection part to an input port which is not used. The light detection part detects the determination light from output of the output port. The fault determination part determines that the light reflection part is abnormal when the light detection part detects the determination light during control for changing the reflection direction of the light reflection part. |
