PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an image defect due to vibration by suppressing a backlash in assembling with simple constitution even if components have variance in size precision, and improving positioning precision of an optical scanner on a support structure.SOLUTION: There is provided a fitting structure for LSU such that an LSU 9, having a positioning boss 28 to be held at an opening part 29, formed on a frame 26, having the opening part formed, with a fixing member 25. The fixing member includes an annular part 35 which can have an outer peripheral surface fitted to the opening part and an inner peripheral surface fitted to the positioning boss, a projection part 36 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the annular part, and a recessed part 30 into which the projection part can be inserted is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the positioning boss. A tip surface 36a of the projection part and a bottom surface 30a of the recessed part are both inclined in the same direction, the annular part is fitted to the opening part with the positioning boss inserted into the opening part, and the fixing member is rotated in a direction in which a gap between the tip surface of the projection part and the bottom surface of the recessed part becomes narrower, thereby fixing the LSU to the frame. |
