PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, an image processing program, and a broadcast receiver capable of interpolating images with higher image quality.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus relating to one embodiment comprises: a reception unit which receives two consecutive frames; a frame division unit which divides each of the two consecutive frames into divided frames; a motion vector detection unit which detects a first motion vector from a division boundary area between the two consecutive frames; an interpolation frame generation unit which generates an interpolation frame on the basis of the two divided frames and the first motion vector; and an output unit which inserts the interpolation frame between the two divided frames and outputs the result. |
