PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting facility, capable of improving the overall operation efficiency by precisely controlling the quantity of articles conveyed to an article carry-in unit to even the burdens of operators.SOLUTION: A sorting facility includes: a loop-like article conveying device 11 which conveys articles put in through article input port groups A, B respectively; a supply line 22 provided with a plurality of shoot groups A, B disposed between the article slot groups A, B in conformation to each article input port group A, B to sort the articles conveyed by the article conveying device 11, the supply line collectively conveying articles requested from each store to containers 21 on article basis; and a branch line 24 for branching and supplying the containers 21 from the supply line 22 to each article input port group A, B. When the containers 21 are branched from the supply line 22 to the branch line 24 on article basis, the containers are branched to each article input port group A, B so that the quantity of articles 13 to be supplied to each article input port is equalized. |
