PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rigidity of attachment to a holder while facilitating the attachment/detachment and replacement of a head body.SOLUTION: An insert attaching seat 7 is formed at the tip of a head body 1 detachably attached to the tip of a holder 11 of a turning tool with clamp screws 13, and an insert 21 for turning is further detachably attached to the insert attaching seat 7. In the head body 1, an attaching hole 6 which includes a through-hole part 6a having an inner diameter where the head 13a of a clamp screw 13 can pass through and a through-groove part 6b which is extended from the through-hole part 6a toward the tip side of the head body 1 and has a groove width so that the head 13a cannot pass through and the shaft 13b of the clamp screw 13 can pass through is formed. A fitted part which is fitted to a fitting part 17a provided at the tip of the holder 11 to be inserted and extracted in a direction in parallel with the direction in which the through-groove part 6b is extended from the through-hole part 6a of the attaching hole 6 is provided at the tip side rather than the attaching hole 6.
