PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire with a terminal having a miniaturized waterproof structure.SOLUTION: An electric wire 10 with a terminal comprises: an electric wire 11 obtained by coating a core wire 12 with an insulation coating 13; a terminal 20 connected to the core wire 12 exposed at a terminal end of the electric wire 11; and a contraction tube 28 encapsulating an electric wire connection part 25 configured to connect the exposed core wire 12 and the terminal 20 with each other. At an end provided frontward from the electric wire connection part 25, of the exposed core wire 12, an inclined plane 12A where thickness dimension of the core wire 12 becomes smaller as approaching the front end of the core wire 12 is formed by welding.
