PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely trap a target large individual in harmful animals such as deer and wild boars.SOLUTION: A harmful animal trapping device includes a box trap (C) having an entrance (1), an opening/closing door (D) of the entrance, a trigger (2) hanging and holding the opening/closing door in a door open state of the entrance, an actuator (3) releasing the trigger to make the opening/closing door fall down by self-weight, a pyroelectric infrared sensor (4) detecting a harmful animal (A) invading into the box trap, and a reflection type photoelectric switch (5) activated by receiving an output signal of the infrared sensor to detect the size of the harmful animal. Operation is controlled on the basis of an output signal of the photoelectric switch detecting that the size of the harmful animal is a certain value or larger so that the actuator releases the trigger. |
