PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of high image quality.SOLUTION: There is provided a display device which comprises: a substrate; a thin film transistor, a passivation film; a hydrogen barrier film; a pixel electrode, an organic light emitting layer; a cathode; and a sealing film. The thin film transistor includes a gate electrode provided on a principal surface of the substrate; a gate insulating film provided on the gate electrode; a semiconductor film provided on the gate insulating film; and first and second conductive parts. The first and second conductive parts are electrically connected to the semiconductor film and are spaced from each other. The passivation film is provided on the thin film transistor. The hydrogen barrier film is provided on the passivation film and overlaps with the semiconductor film when projected on a plane surface parallel to the principal surface. The pixel electrode is electrically connected to one of the first and second conductive parts. The organic light emitting layer is provided on the pixel electrode. The cathode is provided on the organic light emitting layer. The sealing film is provided on the hydrogen barrier film and the cathode. |
