PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spun-bonded nonwoven fabric superior in heat resistance, mechanical strength and rigidity under a high temperature, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The spun-bonded nonwoven fabric is formed by a core-sheath fiber. A core component of the core-sheath fiber comprises a resin containing polyethylene naphthalate as a main component and a sheath component thereof comprises a resin containing polyphenylene sulfide as a main component. A tensile strength per unit basis weight in a longitudinal direction of the spun-bonded nonwoven fabric is 2.0(N/5 cm)/(g/m) or more.
