PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the connecting part between a sheath type thermocouple 24 and a compensation lead cable 25 more resistant to shocks and to humidity.SOLUTION: A sheath type thermocouple adapter connects thermocouple strands 32 and 32 drawn from a sheath 31 of a sheath type thermocouple 24 to compensation leads 35 and 35 drawn from a compensation lead cable 25. Connection portions of the thermocouple strands 32 and 32 to the compensation leads 35 and 35 are housed in an insulating case 21. A metal sleeve 51 is fitted on the outside of the case 21 and, by filling the inside of this sleeve 51 with sealing resin 52 and also filling the inside of the case 21 with this sealing resin 52 through a resin filling aperture-cum-air escape 46 bored in the case 21, the pieces of the sealing resin 52 inside and outside the case 21 are integrated via the piece of resin filling the resin filling aperture-cum-air escape 46 of the case 21. |
