PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record an image including a line extending in a conveyance direction of a recording medium with high quality while preventing a nozzle from being dried.SOLUTION: Nozzles for ejecting color ink are arranged in a conveyance direction of recording paper at an interval three times that of nozzles for ejecting black ink. A region R in which an image is to be printed, is divided into 16 regions formed by four-equally dividing it in a scanning direction and the conveyance direction. In each of the regions, dots 100 are arranged such that eight dots are disposed in the scanning direction and four dots are disposed in the conveyance direction. One character of "M" can be stored in each of a region Ra formed by combining regions A1-A4, a region Rb formed by combining regions B1-B4, a region Rc formed by combining regions C1-C4 and a region Rd formed by combining regions D1-D4. The ink is ejected in the regions Ra, Rc only when an inkjet head is moved to the right. The black ink is ejected in the regions Rb, Rd only when the inkjet head is moved to the left. |
