PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely efficiently cut a high-strength fiber-reinforced plastic plate into an accurate external shape by an inexpensive cutting blade.SOLUTION: A cutting device cuts a high-strength fiber-reinforced plastic plate 10 placed on a cradle 1 by punching machining by a trimming die 3. The trimming die 3 is formed of plate-like carbon steel in which the content of carbon is 0.45-1.4% in which the plate-like carbon steel is bent or curved into a predetermined shape and quenched so as to have an HRC hardness of 62 or higher at a cutting edge 4, a blade surface tilt angle (α) of a cross-sectional shape orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the cutting edge 4 is made larger than 25° and smaller than 60°. |
