PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball joint in which a boot is not twisted and a distance between a pair of ball studs can be precisely adjusted.SOLUTION: A connection device which connects an inner-side tie rod 20 and an outer-side tie rod 40 in a distance adjustable manner comprises: guide devices 23, 43 for guiding the inner-side tie rod 20 in an advancing/retracting manner and in a relative rotation disabled manner with respect to the outer-side tie rod 40; an adjusting device 50 which adjusts an advancing/retracting amount of the inner-side tie rod 20 with respect to the outer-side tie rod 40; and a lock device 57 which locks the advancing/retracting of the inner-side tie rod 20 with respect to the outer-side tie rod 40. The adjusting device 50 comprises a rack gear 24 which is provided in one of the outer-side tie rod 40 and the inner-side tie rod 20, and a pinion gear 56 which is provided in the other of the outer-side tie rod 40 and the inner-side tie rod 20 and meshed with the rack gear 24. |
