PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that although the ceramic used in a radome being attached to the tip of a projectile to be fired from an aircraft uses a material that is favorable to collision and impact of raindrops, it is disadvantageous for a radome requiring thermal shock resistance.SOLUTION: A radome for a projectile advantageous in both collision/impact of raindrops and thermal shock is obtained, by fitting and embedding small pieces of a ceramic material having better thermal conductivity to a ceramic material that is advantageous in collision/impact of raindrops but thermal shock of which is inferior, at a certain rate in the thickness direction of the radome. |
