PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve excellent scribe formation on plate glass by preventing a traveling direction of a rotating wheel cutter from being inclined with respect to a traveling direction of a scribe head.SOLUTION: A scribe head includes a shaft 2 to be oscillated around its axis 2a and a holder unit 3 provided to a tip of the shaft 2 and allowed to be oscillated integrally with the shaft 2. The holder unit 3 includes a disc-like wheel cutter 4 located on an offset position from the axis 2a of the shaft 2 and capable of forming scribe S on plate glass G by rotating while following movement of the shaft 2 and a cutter holder 5 for rotatably holding the wheel cutter 4. The center C of gravity of the holder unit 3 is located on the axis 2a of the shaft 2.
