PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content retrieval device enabling high-speed and high-accuracy content retrieval.SOLUTION: A content retrieval device 1 comprises: a content storage unit 111; a feature vector generation unit 113 for generating a feature vector of each content; a linear transformation matrix generation unit 115 for linearly transforming the feature vector and generating a linear transformation matrix that makes a variance-covariance matrix of the feature vector obtained through linear transformation proportional to a unit matrix; a feature bit code generation unit 117 for using the linear transformation matrix to linearly transform the feature vector of each content, and generating a feature bit code of each content by using a bit coding function to generate a bit code of the feature vector obtained through linear transformation; an input unit 112 for receiving an input of content for query; and a retrieval unit 119 for retrieving content similar to the content for query from the content stored in the content storage unit 111. |
