PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which stabilizes a temperature of a rotation member and is capable of outputting images which have less variations in the image quality even when a recording material whose length orthogonal to the conveyance direction is short is heat processed at high speed.SOLUTION: A control circuit part 50 selects a main thermistor control for an A4 regular sheet in a horizontal feeding, and a sub thermistor control for a narrow width sheet whose length orthogonal to the conveyance direction is smaller than the A4 regular sheet in the horizontal feeding. The main thermistor control controls a heating output of a heater 100 on the basis of an output of a main thermistor 23 detecting a temperature of a heater 100 inside the range contacting with the A4 regular sheet in the horizontal feeding. The sub thermistor control controls a heating output of the heater 100 on the basis of an output of a sub thermistor 25 detecting a temperature of the heater 100 outside the range contacting the A4 regular sheet in the horizontal feeding. |
