PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that ink mist generated along with ink injection adheres to a reflecting plate for calibration, lowering light quantity of reflected light.SOLUTION: A printer 10 includes: an optical sensor 26 detecting remaining amount of ink and having a light emitting part 26a and a light receiving part 26b; ink cartridges 20; and a reciprocating carriage 15 having a recording head 35 injecting the ink supplied from the ink cartridges 20 and the ink cartridges 20. An opening 150 is installed on a bottom face of the carriage 15 on a side opposing to the optical sensor 26. A reflection face reflecting light emitted from the light emitting part 26a toward the light receiving part 26b is installed at the back of the opening 150. |
