摘要 The method comprises crushing and/or homogenizing a powder mixture such that the powder mixture has a maximum particle size of 10 mu m, forming a compact body from the powder mixture, applying an electrically conductive structures on the body, and sintering the compact body to form a sensor support (4) from zirconium silicate, cordierite and ceramics. The electrically conductive structures sinter to a gas-tight metallic structure. The powder mixture includes zirconia (ZrO 2), silica (SiO 2), and 35 vol.% of cordierite in a predetermined mixing ratio. The method comprises crushing and/or homogenizing a powder mixture such that the powder mixture has a maximum particle size of 10 mu m, forming a compact body from the powder mixture, applying an electrically conductive structures on the body, and sintering the compact body to form a sensor support (4) from zirconium silicate, cordierite and ceramics. The electrically conductive structures sinter to a gas-tight metallic structure. The powder mixture includes zirconia (ZrO 2), silica (SiO 2), and 35 vol.% of cordierite in a predetermined mixing ratio. The step of applying the electrically conductive structures on the body comprises placing the body in a mold, and filling the mold with the powder mixture so that the electrical conductive structures are surrounded by the powder mixture and the final body is formed. The SiO 2 is provided as an amorphous glass powder, and the ZrO 2 has a particle size of less than 15 mu m. The sintering step is carried out under oxidizing conditions in a kiln at a rate of 1-4 K/minute at temperature of 1320-1380[deg] C and a holding time of 5 hours. The body is molded by dry pressing, hot molding, powder injection molding or film molding. The crushed and/or homogenized powder mixture is prepared by kneading with organic binder polymers and/or plasticizers at a temperature of up to 150[deg] C. Independent claims are included for: (1) a sensor support; and (2) a sensor.
