PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug dividing and packaging device capable of suppressing any waste of a packaging sheet.SOLUTION: A drug dividing and packaging device includes a sheet transfer device for transferring a long packaging sheet P having an open end in its longitudinal direction along the longitudinal direction, a drug dispensing unit 2 for dispensing drug in a space in the packaging sheet P, a sealing device 3 for sealing the packaging sheet P, and a control unit which forms a plurality of individually demarcated packages H by controlling the sheet transfer device 4 and the sealing device 3. The control unit controls the sheet transfer device 4 and the sealing device 3 such that a packaging sheet P with the drug being dispensed therein is sealed to successively package the drug. The plurality of packages H includes a plurality of drug-containing packages, and a plurality of dummy packages HE in which any drug is not packaged. The control unit forms the plurality of dummy packages HE on the upstream side of the transfer direction X from the drug-containing packages, and forms at least one dummy package HEa out of the plurality of dummy packages HE so that its dimension in the longitudinal direction is smaller than that of the drug-containing packages. |
