PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of reducing the size of the lens barrel when not photographing and correcting image blur during photographing and an optical imaging apparatus using the same.SOLUTION: A lens barrel comprises: a second lens 5 that corrects image blur of a formed image; a second lens hold frame 8 to which the second lens 5 is attached; a first mount member 14 to which the second lens hold frame 8 is attached via a first guide shaft 13; a second lens support 16 to which the first mount member 14 is attached via a second guide shaft 15; a first drive section 17 that moves the second lens hold frame 8 in a first direction S1; a second drive section 18 that moves the first mount member 14 in a second direction S2; and a lens accommodating mechanism that moves an imaging optical system to a photographable position and an accommodating position, and when the imaging optical system is moved from the photographable position to the accommodating position, moves the first mount member 14, guided by the second guide shaft 15, from a position inside an optical path to a retreat position by the second lens 5. |
