PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system which is able to align images printed on both sides of a web.SOLUTION: A printing system comprises a first printer that prints an image on one side of a web and a second printer that is provided behind the first printer and prints an image on the other side of the web. The first printer includes mark forming means that forms an alignment mark for each page on which an image is printed on the web. The second printer includes: mark detecting means that detects the alignment mark formed on the web; storage means by which a distance between the alignment marks on the web, obtained based on the interval between the alignment marks, detected by the mark detection means is stored for each page after the start of printing by the second printer; and conveyance speed correcting means that corrects the conveyance speed of the web for each page on the basis of the distance between the alignment marks for each page stored in the storage means. |
