PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control program and a terminal protecting secret data while normally operating an application program itself.SOLUTION: A control program 22 causes a portable information terminal 1 to function as: application execution means 43 that executes an APL 23 using fictitious data that are fictitious; a normal start application list 61a that stores identification information for identifying the APL 23 executed using normal data that are normal; application start detection means 41 for detecting a start of the APL 23; and start determination means 42 that refers to the normal start application list 61a and determines whether or not permitting the start of the APL 23 detected by the application start detection means 41 on the normal data. When the start determination means 42 determines to permit the start of the application execution means 43 on the normal data, the APL 23 is started and executed using the normal data instead of the fictitious data.
