PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AD conversion device which is designed to eliminate omissions of AD conversion sample.SOLUTION: The AD conversion device includes: an AD converter 52 which samples an analog signal output from an internal cylinder pressure sensor 20 synchronously with generation of a trigger signal and converts the sampled analog signal to a digital signal; and determination means for determining whether a second trigger signal was generated in the middle of an AD conversion which was executed following upon generation of the first trigger signal. Further, the AD conversion device includes a control unit 41 (control means) which, when positive determination is made by the determination means, exerts control so that a first digital signal converted from analog to digital following upon the first trigger signal is output and then a second digital signal corresponding to the second trigger signal is output. |
