PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system that prints out a file attachment of an e-mail transmitted from an information processing unit via a server from an image formation apparatus, capable of reducing a load on the server.SOLUTION: A printing system includes: a printer 105; and a print server 104 configured to print out a file attachment of an e-mail transmitted from portable terminal equipment 101 to a mail server 103, at the printer 105. The print server 104 receives from the mail server 103 an e-mail transmitted from the portable terminal equipment 101, for which the printer 105 is designated as a printing output destination of the file attachment of the e-mail, and then determines whether the printer 105 can perform direct printing in which the file attachment of the e-mail is directly printed. If the printer 105 can perform direct printing, the file attachment of the e-mail is transmitted to the printer 105. |
