PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a difference between the thickness of a connection part and the thickness of other parts when connecting a start edge and an end edge of coating to manufacture a rotation body.SOLUTION: A photoreceptor manufacturing apparatus 10 includes a rotating part 22; an ejection unit 24 ejecting a coating liquid Lto the outer peripheral surface of a base body 14; and a control unit 50 controlling the rotating part 22 and the ejection unit 24. The control unit 50 stops the ejection of the coating liquid Lfrom the ejection unit 24 so that a coating start edge EA of the coating liquid Loverlaps with a coating end edge EB and operates the rotating part 22 after the stop of supply of the coating liquid L. The coating start edge EA of the coating liquid Lis thereby connected to the coating end edge EB, and an overlap part (a joint) of the coating liquid Lbecomes smooth, and in consequence, a difference between the thickness of a connection part and the thickness of other circumferential parts can be reduced when connecting the start edge and end edge of coating to manufacture a photoreceptor 12. |
