PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demand value prediction apparatus and a demand value prediction method which are capable of suppressing repetition of an alarm on state and an alarm off state.SOLUTION: A demand value prediction apparatus (demand monitoring unit 330) includes: a first power obtaining section for obtaining electric power supplied from a system; and a prediction section that obtains, as a sample value, electric energy obtained by the first power obtaining section, and predicts an integral power consumption on the basis of the obtained sample value. The number of the sample values used for predicting the integral power consumption, or an interval to obtain the sample value used for predicting the integral power consumption is changed. |
