An external electrode fluorescent lamp manufacturing method is provided to prevent the scratch and the taken off of an electrode by adamantly adhering a glass tube and an outer electrode through the solder liquid dipping process. A protective layer is formed inside the glass tube(st1,st2). A fluorescent substance is coated inside the glass tube which the first baking process is completed(st3,st4). The fluorescent substance is hardened through the second baking process under the vacuum condition(st5). The annealing process of the glass tube is performed(st6,st7). The scattering process is performed at the constant temperature in order to uniformly diffuse the inactive discharge gas inside the glass tube(st8,st9). The outer electrode is formed at both ends of the glass tube. The solder liquid dipping process is performed(st10,st11). |
