PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture capable of preventing failure and shorter life of a lamp and a lighting-up device caused by output voltage rise by surely stopping an operation of the lighting-up device when the lamp is not connected.SOLUTION: A socket (lamp connection section) 12 is connected with the lamp 90. The lighting-up device built in a body 11 supplies power for lighting up the lamp 90 to the lamp 90 connected with the socket 12. A lamp holding section 13 having a holding condition and a releasing condition holds the lamp 90 in a non-detachable state during the holding condition, and detachably holds the lamp 90 during the releasing condition. The lighting-up device can operate when the lamp holding section 13 is under the holding condition, and stops the operation when the lamp holding section 13 is under the releasing condition. |
