PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively catch a tar component in a smoke while controlling an amount of nanofiber used without raising inhalation resistance in a filter for cigarette using a nanofiber.SOLUTION: A filter 3 to be integrally fitted to a cigarette body 2 is equipped with a cylindrical filter body 31 and a ventilation body 32. The ventilation body 32 is a nonwoven fabric-like sheet comprising a filament of a nanofiber produced by an electrostatic spinning method and having a fiber diameter of ≥10 nm and <1,000 nm and is fitted to the whole area of a tip surface of the filter body 31 formed in a round shape having the substantially same diameter as that of the filter body 31. The mass of the ventilation body 32 used in the filter 3 is usually ≥0.04 mass% and ≤0.4 mass% of the filter body 31. |
