PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a transient time to be set without the need for a user to stay at the installation location of a device with off-timer having an off-timer for transition to a standby state, and to prevent the operating time of the device from becoming longer than necessary or becoming shorter on the contrary.SOLUTION: A device 1 with an off-timer 15c includes: a standby state releasing part 15a for, when accepting a processing request in a standby state, releasing the standby state; and a transient time setting part 15b for setting a transient time to the standby state in the off-timer 15c in accordance with the content of the processing request. |
