PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing the occurrence of charging unevenness.SOLUTION: A photoreceptor drum 4K is rotated in a predetermined direction to have an electrostatic latent image formed on a peripheral surface thereof. A charging roller 50K comes into pressure contact with the peripheral surface of the photoreceptor drum 4K to charge the peripheral surface of the photoreceptor drum 4K. A direction of force F1 exerted to the photoreceptor drum 4K by the charging roller 50K is inclined to an upstream side of a direction of rotation of the photoreceptor drum 4K at a contact part P1 of the charging roller 50K and the photoreceptor drum 4K, with respect to a straight line I1 connecting the contact part P1 and a shaft A2 of the charging roller 50K. |
