PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: there is a case where an image may not be seen well by a person due to fixed display of the image.SOLUTION: A display device includes: an image display unit that displays an image on a display surface; a movement detection unit that detects moving speed in a surface direction of the display surface and moving direction of a person who locates in an area defined in advance to the display surface; and a control unit that displays an image on the image display unit with different modes in the cases of a low-speed state where the moving speed is slower than a speed threshold and a high-speed state where the moving speed is equal to or higher than the speed threshold.
