PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more inexpensively provide a ring-like core of a torque converter.SOLUTION: There is provided a torque converter in which a pump impeller 20 and a turbine runner 30 are provided to be rotatable relatively on an axial line X, and a pump blade 22 provided on a surface opposite to a turbine shell 31 of a pump shell 21 and a turbine blade 32 provided on a surface opposite to the pump shell of the turbine shell 31 are supported by ring-like cores (pump core 23, turbine core 33), respectively. Circumferential-direction ends of arcuate core members 231, 341 are joined to each other to form the ring-like cores (pump core 23, turbine core 33). |
