摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a reagent for detecting a patient with stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer or biliary tract cancer by analyzing genes whose expression levels vary in peripheral blood in cases of the stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer or biliary tract cancer as compared with healthy subjects.SOLUTION: In a method, an expression profiling of at least one gene selected from the group consisting of probes corresponding to the genes whose expression levels vary in cases of stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer or biliary tract cancer in the peripheral blood as compared with healthy subjects is obtained and a patient of the stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer or biliary tract cancer is detected based on the expression. A reagent for detecting the stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer or biliary tract cancer includes nucleotides consisting of base sequences of at least one gene selected from a group consisting of probes whose expression levels vary in the stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer or biliary tract cancer, partial sequences thereof or complementary sequences thereto.
