PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact device capable of more surely extinguishing arc by preventing reignition of arc and increasing arc voltage.SOLUTION: The contact device includes a pair of contact points composed of a pair of fixed terminals 1 respectively having a fixed contact 10, and a movable contactor 2 contacted and separated to/from each fixed contact 10, a sealed container 4 for hermetically sealing each contact part, and a permanent magnet 42 for driving arc generated at each contact part in a direction of leaving each contact part, and the permanent magnet 42 is arranged so as to make a magnetic field B1 applied to arc increase as the arc leaves each contact part. |
