[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to prevent the positions of a plurality of cylindrical single cells constituting a battery assembly from becoming offset. [Solution] A battery cell is characterized by having: a plurality of cylindrical single cells which each has a groove extending in the circumferential direction of the respective single cells and which is disposed within a plane containing the radial direction; and a securing plate which has an engaging part for securing the plurality of single cells by engaging with the grooves of each single cell. A bus bar for electrically connecting the terminal electrodes of adjacent single cells may be secured to the securing plate.
