PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new modified butadiene polymer wherein a sufficient amount of functional groups are introduced to specific regions, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: In a modified butadiene polymer: two or more terminals are modified with a modifying group having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of an amino group, an alkoxysilyl group, and a hydroxy group; and a vinyl group of a main chain is modified with a silicon modifying group having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of an amino group, an alkoxysilyl group, and a hydroxy group.
