PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device, a lighting device and a display device, capable of irradiating light on an irradiated body with uniform luminance in a plane direction of the irradiated body without unduly losing energy.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device has a light volume adjusting member 116 arranged which covers an LED chip 111a for emitting light and adjusts a volume of light incident into a central part 1121 of an upper face 112a of a lens 112 which refracts at least part of the light emitted from the LED chip 111a. On the light volume adjusting member 116, there is provided a light shielding member 117 for shielding light by reflecting the light incident from an LED chip 111a side to the LED chip 111a side.
