PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concurrently observe not only a principal part but also a peripheral wide range.SOLUTION: A stereoscopic endoscope system 1 includes: an endoscope 2 in which a tip of a long and narrow insertion part 21 capable of being inserted into a subject has a plurality of imaging parts 22 for acquiring an image by photographing the subject; an image processing device 3 which generates a display image by image-processing the image acquired by the image capturing parts 22 of the endoscope 2; and an image display device 4 which displays the display image image-processed by the image processing device 3. The image processing device 3 generates the display image in which a three-dimensional image generated from the plurality of images acquired by the plurality of image capturing parts 22 is arranged in a central part and in which a two-dimensional image is arranged on the outer peripheral part of the three-dimensional image. |
