PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for inspecting tubes or other workpieces with tubular structures.SOLUTION: An apparatus for inspecting a tubular workpiece 200 includes a probe assembly 150 and a rotation mechanism 122. The probe assembly 150 may include a transducer array positionable adjacently to an inner surface of the tubular workpiece 200. The probe assembly 150 may generate transmitted sound waves and receive reflected sound waves. The rotation mechanism 122 rotates the probe assembly 150 relatively to the tubular workpiece 200 such that the transducer array passes over the inner surface in a circumferential direction during transmission of the transmitted sound waves.
