PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a human body model make a movement close to an actual human being in order to accurately evaluate getting-on/off capability.SOLUTION: A design support system 100 for vehicle includes: a human body characteristic data storage part 3 for storing human body characteristic data relating to a human body model JM simulating a crew; a design specification data storage part 2 for storing temporary design specification data in the periphery of a door part for vehicle; and a getting-on/off operation orbit calculation part 5 for, on the basis of the human body characteristic data stored by the human body characteristic data storage part 3 and the temporary design specification data stored by the design specification data storage part 2, simulating the getting-on/off operation of the crew with respect to a virtual vehicle corresponding to the temporary design specification data in accordance with the human body model JM to calculate the operation orbit. The getting-on/off operation orbit calculation part 5 simulates the getting-on/off operation on the basis of the tolerance of a joint. |
