PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device and a communication control method, capable of suppressing interference on continuing radio communication by a preamble mask signal.SOLUTION: In a radio communication system including: a mobile station; a base station for transmitting a preamble signal to establish a communication connection with the mobile station; and a relay device, a relay device 101 includes: a mobile station side communication unit 121 for transmitting/receiving a radio signal to/from the mobile station; a position detection unit 113 for detecting the position of the relay device 101; and a control unit 117 for determining whether or not to allow the mobile station side communication unit 121 to transmit a preamble mask signal to interfere the preamble signal according to the position of the relay device 101 detected by the position detection unit 113. |
