PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a multicore electric connector provided with a spring pin type contact of a structure suitable to be used to connect to a wire harness.SOLUTION: In a spring pin type electric connector 1 provided with spring pin type contacts 12, an engaging step surface 14d with a female side terminal metal fitting 35 attached to an end part 31a of an electric wire 31 of a wire harness 3 is formed on an outer circumferential surface of a terminal pin 14 extending from a rear end of a tube 15 holding a spring pin 13 in each spring pin type contact 12 in a slidable state. By pushing the terminal pin 14 into the female side terminal metal fitting 35 of each electric wire 31 of the wire harness 3, the terminal pin is fitted into the female side terminal metal fitting in a coming-out prevention state to be electrically connected. Since the need of soldering is eliminated, work for connecting a multicore spring pin type electric connector to the wire harness 3 is simplified to facilitate wiring correction work. |
