PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the stop time of a service in the case of switching servers.SOLUTION: A server system includes: a first server device during operation, a second server device during stand-by and first and second disks. The first disk stores data obtained by the processing of the first server device. The second disk stores the data stored in the first disk by mirroring the first disk. When receiving a switching request for requesting the switching of the server device during operation from the first server device to the second server device, the first server device interrupts the mirroring processing of the second disk. The first server device transmits an operation start request for requesting the start of the operation to the second server device. Before processing using the first disk of the first server device ends, the second server device starts the processing by using the second disk as the storage destination of data obtained from the processing of the second server device. |
