A ceria nanocomposite comprises a body portion of a hollow cube shape, and at least one branch connected to the body portion. A manufacturing method for the ceria nanocomposite comprises: a step of synthesizing a hydrochloric acid cerium nanocomposite of a cube shape by making a cerium precursor react with alkyl amine (RNH2); a step of synthesizing a cerium hydroxide nanocomposite by making the hydrochloric acid cerium nanocomposite react with water, decomposing the inner portion of the hydrochloric acid cerium nanocomposite, and growing at least one branch; and a step of making the cerium hydroxide with a nobel metal precursor.
