PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball joint capable of improving water proofing properties of fitting between a dust cover and a socket in the ball joint having the dust cover fixed to the socket with a circlip.SOLUTION: A ball joint 100 includes a dust cover 140 fitted to an outer periphery of a socket 120 formed in a bottomed cylinder. The socket 120 includes a dust cover rest face 126 for supporting a dust cover groove 125 in which a socket fitting part 141 of the dust cover 140 fits and a socket facing face 143 of the dust cover 140. The dust cover rest face 126 tilts to a side of the socket facing face 143 from the outside to the inside. The socket fitting part 141 of the dust cover 140 includes radial projections 142 on an inner peripheral face thereof. The socket facing face 143 of the dust cover 140 includes an axial projection 145 projecting to a side of the dust cover rest face 126. |
